    2. 🥳 HURRAY!!!

You are at low risk in the sense that you're home and don't mingle. But it will be so good to not worry over the kidlets coming to visit and the occasional friend, not to speak of the home health people themselves. You will be the first person I know who's getting the J&J. Very interested to hear how it is for you. Plan to take it easy.

  2. The most common side effects seen with the J&J COVID-19 vaccine are pain at the injection site, headache, and flu-like symptoms.
There have been fewer cases of allergic reactions to the J&J vaccine compared with the Moderna-NIAID and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines.
The FDA will continue to monitor the safety of the J&J vaccine as it’s rolled out to the American public.

  3. Last night we had a little bit of rain and heard one peal of thunder. The newspaper said there was a significant amount of thunder and lightning, plus some flooding in places around town. The clouds have settled down on the mountain tops, as they typically do, but before that we could see new snow.

    1. As usual, Vermont is a noteworthy exception.

But then, we have a James Jeffords type Republican Governor.

    1. Y'know, I was assuming that the death total not changing for several days was a screw up.
      Imagine if it's reality!!

Vermont's number hasn't increased in 2 days. So, it's possible.

  8. After the second Pfizer vaccination, Miyoko had far less pain at the injection site than the first time. Today (2V+1) she has been unusually sleepy all day, though.
