Nope. The doc’s office sends the order to the hospital and the hospital calls the patient with a day and time.
But that’s moot now, because his doctor did something and the procedure is back on!! She says if they give him any grief at Registration to have them page her.
Technically it’s a procedure, not a surgery. But I read that respiratory procedures and surgeries REQUIRE a Covid test, while for heart cath it is highly recommended. I think his doctor simply had wiggle room.

The 1920’s were hard times for many, there are many big differences between then and now, and no, I am not interested in attending athletic contests or nightclubs. Prohibition, gangsters, insane stock market behavior, Bolshivism and Weimarism also neither appeal nor seem likely. Politically, I suspect we might see something more like the late 1860’s in the US, and given the general disenchantment with established political parties in much of the world, a political realignment. That isn’t to say that there might not be a nugget or two in this essay.

ReplyDeleteWell, things have changed.
ReplyDeleteBecause they didn't get Wil a Covid test, his procedure has been rescheduled to January 7th.
🤯
But did they give you a date for the Covid test this time?
DeleteNope. The doc’s office sends the order to the hospital and the hospital calls the patient with a day and time.
DeleteBut that’s moot now, because his doctor did something and the procedure is back on!! She says if they give him any grief at Registration to have them page her.
We are hugely relieved!!!
DeleteAt the same time, I gotta say, I feel like I’ve been in a battle, being pushed and pulled with great force back and forth.
Wil told a friend that he might survive this but I might not. Ha!

DeleteOHIO; COVID cases 629,354 and 8,122 deaths.
ReplyDelete🌟UPDATE!🌟
ReplyDeleteWil’s procedure is back on!! His doctor did something...! Apparently she doesn’t want him to wait. Wheeewww!!
Such relief here!!! 🤩
Pardon my warped sense of humor, but it occurred to me to wonder if the surgery might take place in the parking lot! I certainly hope not. . .
