I don't understand the yellow states in the map at the top.
It’s a map I posted back in November, ahead of today. Those states were probably still in play at the time.
I was puzzled, too. . .

[Click] I have never paid any attention to Le Carre’s novels; they just didn’t appear interesting. This obituary tells me more, and makes the man’s writings seem somewhat interesting—but upon reflection, not interesting enough to read, I think.
