I thought that metallurgical [best quality anthracite] coal production would continue because it is necessary for steel production. But evidently not. [Click] Electric Arc Furnaces have been replacing blast furnaces (which need coke or best quality anthracite) for some time now. The observation was made from very early in the Trump Administration that it was unprepared to deal with any sort of crisis--diplomatic, weather, epidemic, financial, whatever--because it had hollowed out the agencies and administrative apparatus required to do the job, as well as inserting unqualified toadies in critical positions. And that at least one crisis was sure to occur within four years. Well, here we are. And it is unquestionably sparked by Trump's own actions. Here's hoping that he follows his usual pattern of behavior and folds like the cheap suit he is.
I see that there is some weather on the way back east--rain, later snow in places, high temperatures (for January), maybe tornadoes, and so forth. Good luck to everybody.

You may have seen this video of DT claiming in 2011 that President Obama would attack Iran for political reasons, to get reelected. One thing we know about Republicans is that they always point to others and describe their own actions.
