  1. This is the latest I have found on the debate and picket line. [Click] There isn’t an arena, theater, or event center available anywhere in the greater Los Angeles area that can host the debate on a moment’s notice? Hard to believe.

    1. Some of those old vaudeville theaters that were turned into movie theaters had stages big enough to handle dancing elephants--and the stages are generally still there. Aimee Semple McPherson's Angelus Temple seats 5,300.

  2. Thinking of the Angelus Temple moved me to re-read the Wikipedia article on Aimee Semple McPherson, particularly her charitable work. [Click] My mother remembered being taken by her father to hear Sister Aimee.

    2. I can't access the article: WaPo tells me I'm browsing in private mode; I don't know what that is and SeaMonkey's help function doesn't recognize the term.

But to the point: Can you really get a 15% return with conservative mangement? TIAA Traditional pays roughly 6%.

    3. Actually, we have been beating 15% regularly for quite some time now, with major companies. Various types of diversified funds. It varies, of course--but at a high level these days.

  6. Oh, do you you mean THOSE bundlers? [Click] Pete omitted several big bundlers. Not good, no matter the reason.
