Can you tell I'm a little wildly busy this week? ๐
Daughter played her harp at Baby Grand's baptism on Sunday. She bought it herself as a teen, for $2000, by saving up what she made offering childcare and doing science projects in an after school program.

That first headline is mighty interesting, not to mention heartening.
DeleteIndeed it is.
DeleteI never noticed there wasn't a new thread. Busy, busy day, especially with spending 2-1/2 hours watching the debate. Surprisingly, the live streaming from Politico worked well except for a few early instances.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of it, Bill?
DeleteInteresting, especially in terms of everybody emphasizing how they were different from Trump. Mostly running against him rather than each other. The big exception was the long argument between Warren and Butiegieg about campaign finance, which the others said wasn't called for. It probably hurt both of them, as going negative tends to do in a multi-candidate race. I think with fewer candidates on stage Yang, Steyer, and Klobuchar had a better chance to impress than they had had before, and Klobuchar especially took advantage of this.
DeleteThanks for putting up the new thread, Listener.
ReplyDeleteGlad to do it...when I remember! LOL!
