Asimov wrote a humorous story called "How It Began", which appears in the 1983 collection The Winds of Change and Other Stories. I can't find any reference to the story online, much less an electronic reprint, but then my googling skills leave a lot to be desired. Anyway, if you can get hold of it, it's well worth a read.
Long story short: Tanners body is sick and working hard, but tired. They’re supporting him as best they can even though he has further declined in the last couple days. I am still praying and hoping with everything I have for him to recover. Image may contain: one or more people and people sleeping 2 hrs ·
We are headed to Maine tomorrow to hold that grandbaby again, and to visit Wil’s brother who recently had a stroke.
It was supposed to be little VT grand’s 4th birthday party, but they’re sick. She has already decided she wants to be a doctor. She’s been saying it for nearly two years! We bought her a real stethoscope. It’s pink. She is youngest’s middle child. And!! :insert drumroll here: They have just started home schooling..!!!!
I shouldn’t even be on Facebook right now, but I have asked everyone to pray for Tanner and I want you to know how grateful I am. Don’t stop praying for a miracle. That said, I don’t think Tanner is going to make it through the night. To say that I’m devastated would be an understatement. 20 mins
That's a pretty photo!

Yep. That's the one. It's a good one to read aloud, if the reader can do a big, announcer type voice.

Oh, Puddle, I'm so sorry!!! But there's only so much the human body, even a young body, can take. Continuing to hope for a positive outcome. ♥
