The quotation was unfamiliar to me, but thanks to the marvels of modern technology I could locate it here [Click] in about ten seconds. In context, it is quite apropos.

I agree we have a long-standing relationship with Israel, which will endure. I'm just thinking it might not involve money.
The tanker's stated next port of call is Kalamata, in Greece. Turkey is one of Iran's better oil customers; I am guessing that the refinery in Izmir is a likely destination.
It occurred to me to wonder if the tanker might take back a load of gasoline, but upon checking it seems that Iran is currently producing somewhat more gasoline than it can consume locally.
