“Harris now polls at 12 percent… in third place alongside Sen. Elizabeth Warren… [also] at 12 percent… behind Sen. Bernie Sanders…at 19 percent…Joe Biden remains in the lead with 33 percent…” followed by:
“Biden maintains the highest favorability rating among likely voters at 71 percent, with Sanders trailing him at 67 percent. Warren came in third at 63 percent, and was followed by Harris with 55 percent.” Also:
“Warren and Harris both were both found to be favored as second choice candidates; each was the preferred second choice of their respective supporters.”
So it isn’t clear what the writers of the column are talking about, but it IS clear they are talking about different things at the same time. It is early days, most voters are barely beginning to pay attention, and Harris had one good event (to Biden’s detriment). Bernie set the stage for this year’s Democratic campaign—and the New Democrats [AKA “moderates” rather than the more accurate (IMO) “losers”] still can’t get their minds around what is happening/has happened. My opinion only, so consider the source.

I still think this survey, from about a week ago, is well worth considering, [Click] and the first illustration/graph in particular.
