I added notes at the end of the previous thread just now, re Roger Stone apparently being in a very big heap of trouble.
listener--thanks for the link to the Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice's statement about Bernie--it's what I have thought all along, i.e. that Bernie is the closest thing to a New Dealer I have seen running for President since Walter Mondale. It's nice to have some validation.

The Hill: Biden seeks donors as he eyes presidential bid [Click] Big money donors, evidently. If there is a New Democrat in the running by the middle of next March, I strongly suspect it will not be Mr. Biden. And this makes it sound like the moneybags may be of the same opinion.
On the bright side, due to the marvels of modern technology you can watch the whole event from the comfort of your own home, at your own convenience. But the impact of doing it as part of a large group is very nice, certainly. Stay warm, Bill.
Lakey: “Polarisation, instead of making a society stuck, seems to heat up society and makes it more volatile. And so that means a lot of ugliness comes to the surface, a lot of violence, a lot of nastiness. And at the same time, the sheer volatility enables us to make major changes that otherwise cannot be made.” Reminds me of John Brown, who held that things had to be moved far off center to make social progress possible. Granted that Brown was a violent revolutionary and Lakey is a pacifist, they seem to share the basic insight that the release of social tensions makes progress possible.
Progressive Democrats of America is running an official poll to determine who they should endorse. From the running comments, Bernie seems to be the overwhelming favorit.
