"Psychiatrist: With Trump, “You See Sadism In Everything He Does.” - The Intellectualist
“[With Trump], you see [sadism] in everything he does, from the separating of the children at the border to how Trump tortures anyone who doesn't give him what he wants. There's a way in which he takes a kind of manic glee in causing harm and pain and humiliation to other people.” Jake Thomas
It's not only people he torments. A friend of mine on Fun Trivia who lives on Long Island described a so called development project of his some time ago. I can't recall the details but, if memory serves, he tore down an old, slightly shabby but serviceable, and popular, building on low lying land and then abandoned the project, so a local landmark is gone and the land is deteriorating. My impression is, this is not the only place he did such a thing to. He's destructive. He uses and hurts people; he uses and hurts the land. And now he's using and hurting the country. Wonder if he tortured animals when he was a child. It seems likely.
I hope they're preparing a nice, uncomfortable cell for him at Leavenworth!
I think it is a pity that the Presidential Suite at Fort Monroe has been closed. But maybe a stay in the Dry Tortugas would benefit him. In fact, if he were to pay to restore Fort Jefferson, maybe an adjustment to his accommodations could be arranged. Submarine rations, say.
Politics as the New Religion for Progressive Democrats [Click] Some interesting sociological changes. “The more important shifts will be longer-term. ‘The Democratic Party is undergoing a fundamental transformation. It’s not going to occur over one election cycle.’”
”A Scary Time For Boys” [Click] Protest song said to have gone viral; I haven’t listened to it yet, but will.

P.S.: I still like "Put Mrs. God on the Phone"
The recording doesn't work well with my old ears--can't make out more than half of the words, if that. But it sounds promising.
DeleteThinking of songs and phones, I am going to figure out how to change the ring tone to the second verse of Howlin' Wolf's "Moanin' at Midnight:"
"Well, somebody calling me, calling on my telephone
Well, somebody calling me, over my telephone
Well, keep on calling, tell them I'm not at home"
That should both be distinctive and betray my age [or--ahem--my cosmopolitan tastes]

the ring tone on my new phone, that is.
