P.S.: The author mentions Constructivism;[Click] I had not realized how influential this Russian art and architecture movement had been, but upon even cursory examination, it is obvious. Influential Constructivists even lectured at and had a formative influence on Bauhaus!
DNC far from functional.[Click] “The Democratic National Committee headquarters remains mostly empty, devoid of almost any senior staff. It has a new chairman, Tom Perez, but there’s still no executive director. There’s a completely new organizational chart, but the gutted political, finance, and tech offices remain in search of new leaders.”
Good grief! That is actually the scariest thing I've read today! How in this world do they expect to win ANYTHING in 2018 if they just lie down and give up?
I think their brains are addled by what happened last year. "Does not compute! Does not compute!" It occurs to me that their only hope of survival is to appeal to the young and the economically displaced (who will be far more numerous in years to come), but they have no idea how to do it--even though it has been demonstrated to them! Like the GOP, they used a lot of people for a long time whom they had no intention of allowing to control anything. The folks the GOP used for so long are now in the driver's seat; maybe the driver's seat of the Democratic Party will be hijacked in the not far distant future, I hope to better effect. But the Old Guard is not going to stay in control by just rolling out a slightly re-jiggered public relations campaign. Look at what is happening to the Labour Party in the UK.
The fungus would be like a mushroom, right? I mean, you should be able to cut through it with a large garden spade/shovel, true? Not this thing! It must have been petrified fungus! And that white thing...you'd think styrofoam would break apart with a little encouragement, yes? Not this thing! I finally managed to scrap the whole thing off in one big chunk and double bag it!
We had not seen it the day before as we tromped through that spot. Weird!
The light brown thing/things appears to be some sort of fungus. I can't tell from the photo if the white thing in the middle is organic or not.
