  1. Whoop for Howard!

Raining here, 20-30 inches of snow was predicted in the mountains last night. I think the snow line has not been as low as usual so far this year.

  2. We have, I'm guessing, somewhere between 15" and 20"--is bright, but not blue, and the snow and wind seem to have pretty much stopped.

I can do better rather than he'll do worse always sounds better to my ears. Jus' me?

    1. Definitely not just you, puddle--not by a long shot.

P.S.: Rain in the morning here, beautiful afternoon, now a full moon and enough cloud cover (if it holds) to prevent fog Sunday morning.

  3. I remember when I was young I had a mechanical squirrel toy that looked very much like the photo above.

  4. Cute squirrel. I didn't know such a thing existed, but Friday - or was it Thursday? - was Squirrel Appreciation Day.

We've had minimal impact from the storm, with projected accumulation of four inches at most. Phew!

  5. Currently making my way through The Black Lizard Big Book of Locked Room Mysteries. Great stuff!

The Global Challenge started on the Eleventh over at Fun Trivia. So far -knock on wood! - yours truly is doing respectably, staying in the top ten of both my team and my local, Massachusetts, group.

I donno. Not a whole lot going on. Trying to say warm!
