Thanks, Alan. I rather like the idear of an hour lasting two hours. It sounds like I'd have more time to finish something and wouldn't need to scurry as fast to not be late. ;-)
Hmm. Looks like a virus somehow sneaked into the SeaMonkey updater, which resulted in Norton deleted SeaMonkey. But I was able to download it again, and luckily all my bookmarks were retained.
Short day at work today--only eight hours, and I was on my way home about three hours before sundown, to judge from the position of the sun. Nice smell of assorted blossoms in our yard; the cherry blossoms are starting to open, together with the peaches and wisteria; plum blossoms are mostly fallen. The new peach in the back yard, a Belle of Georgia, has yet to show any blossoms, but the twigs definitely look OK. Maybe it's just a late starter. Very nice to have dinner with my sweetie.
I reviewed thee cases for public defenders in a southern California county this evening--two easy-peasy defenses, one reasonable. Simple written opinions should suffice, probably no need to take any of the cases to trial.
Just checked--yes indeed, Belle of Georgia is a late white peach. Both our old (white) peaches are early, although a couple of weeks apart. The new peach in our front yard seems to be early too. The old trees are at least twenty years old, and won't last a lot longer.
D E A N !!!
ReplyDeletelistener--the Babylonians and Indians divided the day into 24 hours; the Chinese divided it into 12, so one chinese hour equals two western hours.
ReplyDeleteAnd thus to bed.

Very funny!! I had two calico kittens from the same litter, named Razzle and Dazzle. Not twins--Dazzle had dark ears, Razzle had light ears.
ReplyDeleteWhat great names for kitties! I even know of a Dazzle kitty, who is a Tortoiseshell cat.

ReplyDeleteThat does sound like good luck, Bill.

Now for some relaxation.
