Our gorgeous Grandson is with us today while his parents go house hunting. He didn't sleep well last night, but refused his nap. Then his parents needed to leave, and he got rather upset. (He doesn't see us often.) Less than a half hour later he was sound asleep. Haven't lost our touch! :-)
I was absent yesterday because of work (the curse of the drinking class). Lots and lots of work and significant bad luck with a backup instrument. I packed it in at a quarter to ten in the evening. Today (Thursday) was much nicer, but I need to get to bed at a not unreasonable time tonight--this weekend I work at the hospital. Getting read up on Karl Marx was a very good idea; like anyone else he was a product of his times, but many of his basic ideas have obvious relevance today. It's too bad his health deteriorated and he passed away before he could complete several books, and before he could set to work on others.
Remember to be Dean today!

ReplyDeleteI agree, Bill, a banana needs no accompaniment.
ReplyDeletePatty is taking me to the Apple Store Sunday afternoon. Fingers crossed they can straighten out my iPad.
ReplyDeleteMay it be like the woodsman's axe--just as good as the day he bought it, after only seven new handles and three new heads!

This [Click] is the best article I have read on Housing First programs.
