listener, too funny! Because I enlarge the print so much, I only get the left hand side of your pictures. So I was trying to construct a pony from fence posts, fence wire, a tree and some odd branches. Looks more like a giraffe, though. *Then* it occurred to me there might be a real pony in there, and I opened the picture in a new tab. . . .
Spinnaker kitty is not very clever with her claws, and tends to be a little skittish. So we had a mishap while clipping her claws tonight, resulting in a deep slash across my left cheek. It bled like crazy while we did the deed. Egads. After I got cleaned up we clipped Mizzen's claws. She being the stalwart one, it was a breeze.
Nice day before that, though. I got to visit a dear 80 year old friend as well as a Peace Corps friend (we all had lunch together). PC friend just got back from 2 years in Ghana, and the culture shock returning to our consumer culture has been hard. She and her husband have decided to re-up, this time for Asia…most likely Burma or North Vietnam. Wow.
Whether it's dark outside or light, Howard Dean is still #1.

DeleteSame for me as for puddle. Although it only took about I minute for me to decide that part of the picture must be missing.
DeleteI'm ashamed of how long I kept constructing that giraffe-pony, lol!

puddle and Bill, the funny thing is that when I double-click on the photo it only gets about twice as large and fits with room to spare. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteNo problems with the pony photo here. Using a desktop with a big screen.
ReplyDeleteI see the news stories about lots of places back East (notably Buffalo) getting whacked with cold and snow. I hope everyone here is cozy.

Yesterday was record cold for the date, but a bit warmer today and the predicted snow didn't arrive.
