I may not be around much until Monday, as I'm working tomorrow, then off to do the memorial service and a couple other things this weekend. Send good vibes, as I'm going to need them. ♥
The meteor-watching conditions were a bit better last night; we saw three big ones, and then went to bed.
The old repetitive stress injuries in my hands have been acting up lately; the left arm is now pretty much OK, but the right (which I damaged more seriously) was not. After a couple of months I was getting very tired of it, and finally decided to get a wrist brace at the drug store that was supposedly designed to relieve carpal tunnel syndrome. It's magic! After wearing it for only seven hours, I took it off and the pain in my hand, wrist and elbow was about 99% gone! Twenty-six dollars VERY well spent; now I am confident I can continue with my present work as long as I wish. (I was beginning to wonder.)

P.S.: A fellow I know was recently hit really hard by West Nile Virus--debilitated (temporarily we hope) much as if he had had a stroke. Even though they say only 20% of those infected have ANY symptoms, and only one percent have serious problems, those who do get it bad get it bad one hundred percent. Lots of mosquitos about this year--I bought some repellant.
Let's seat Howard Dean!
ReplyDeleteWow, where'd everybody go today?
