Salmon collars (actually one salmon collar shared) for dinner here tonight. We had french toast for breakfast (Japanese-style bread is good), and will have grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Fruit and rabbit food as appropriate. And coffee (my favorite Colombian alkaloid.) With yesterday's chowder at the restaurant there were oyster crackers from Vermont, no less!
Very nice this morning; we have the windows open and are enjoying the slight breeze.
You're right, puddle--it ought to have a napkin wrapped around it! I hadn't noticed that--my attention was drawn to the figures on the dishes--can't quite make out what they might be. --Alan
Alan…Ah, those Vermont oyster crackers are the best, indeed. :-) Sounds like you had a lovely day.
We have had the most beautiful Spring and a glorious weekend here. And VT*Grand has been here three nights. We are doing more with her in advance of our vacation, so we don't have to feel guilty spending time with ourselves. ;-)
Now it occurs to my warped mind to wonder if Green Mountain oysters (which of course would be served with Vermont oyster crackers) might be similar to Rocky Mountain oysters...
How about a turkey sandwich with Dean?

I love in the picture how the vase of poppies looks (at first) like it has a napkin wrapped around it! Gorgeous visual.
