  2. I've never seen that flower before. That's why I love photos - they take me places I could never go in real life.

BTW, I haven't been on Facebook all that long (and I put on the bare minimum of info and no personal pix), but does anybody else find it as gawdawful depressing as I find it?

    1. My sister does, Susan. I rather like FB myself, or would if they wouldn't keep "improving" it. All the improvements have made it increasingly incompatible with my screen reader, so now it's darn near impossible for me to use. The groups still work fine, but my feed and my own page have become a major pain. But that's a usability issue, not a depressive issue. When it works I enjoy seeing what my friends and acquaintances are up to.

  3. Listener, despite the gravity of the situation, I had to smile. I've experienced one or other -or several -of the symptoms you listed for anemia most of my life.

I was found to be mildly anemic a while back, so the doctor put me on OTC iron, though only during my period. When things settle down and I go back to the doc, she may change the frequency, but when I saw her in the Summer she ordered blood tests and they gave her no reason to change it then. Possibly the situation has worsened, and if so she'll adjust as needed. But it'll be a while till I get back to the doc. In the meantime, I don't want to mess with the iron. I will, however, try to eat better and drink more water.

  4. Hmmm... Hope that last comment wasn't too convoluted.

    1. Cat, your comment wasn't convoluted. But it did worry me. If you are having symptoms there is no reason or excuse worth a cent not to go see the doctor. At very least, why not call the doctor and run your symptoms by the nurse?

  5. All Eyes on Engelbert has been approved and put online. My editor friend, Agony, has apparently only just noticed that the entire Engelbert subcategory is by yours truly. Like I told her, it's a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it. *grin*

Now I really have to get busy and finish "My Baby Left Me: Jazz Edition." Since I've been feeling so awful it's been hard to concentrate on researching song details, but hopefully it can get finished over the weekend. I want to move forward in Adventures in Authoring. Also, did I mention, you get two thousand points for every quiz placed online? That's a nice little incentive. Besides, I just love doing it.

What a pity the two things I've found that I really enjoy, Fun Trivia and my YouTube channel, don't pay a cent! Of course, they do put me in the respect economy. That's important in its own way. Jim Kelly says eventually it will have to be formalized and integrated into the monetary economy, but that recognition is a looooong way away. Oh, well. I guess it's something to have found my niche, even if an unpaid one.
