It was sunny in the morning but now has become overcast.
First and most important, Angel has been in serious but stable condition for several days.
Second, keeping fingers crossed and knocking on wood, I've had no bleeding since shortly after midnight. Thought the weakness was just in my imagination, but I'm definitely feeling it today. But surely I'll bounce back quickly, assuming my system settles back into something approaching a normal pattern.
Good news the bleeding has stopped. I was worried. But getting your hemoglobin back to normal could take a couple of weeks. Don't expect to bounce right back.
Erm, I haven't been on FB or checked my mail for a few days. I do appreciate you messaging me, Listener, honest! I promise to look for your messages tomorrow. Got to go to bed now. Very tired.
Reinstallation of the new version of Mac OS X took a long time, but went off without a hitch. All problems and glitches seem to have been solved. But unless you want greater integration with your iPhone running iOS7, I see no compelling reason to upgrade to Mavericks at this time. I figured I would do it on my 2102 MacBook Air, which was just one version behind, as an experiment (since it was free).
There's an inch of snow in Deanland this morning! And Howard is still First!
ReplyDeleteWe have that here in Ohio, though I think it will melt a lot as the day warms. It was 23 degrees when I got up. Ugh! Scraping windshields is back.
ReplyDeleteSnow is also on the ground in Oak Park -- or at least was mid-morning. Not enough to really cover the grass, though.

DeleteThanks, Bill. I'll take it easy.
DeleteARG! I spoke too soon. Gee but this is getting tiresome.
DeleteCat, did you get my private messages on FB?

DeleteCat--Heroics are just as bad as hypochondria. Middle course, please.

Hmmmm...... I'm really not so cutting edge as to have a 2102 MacBook Air--2012 would be more like it.

I'm counting on you reading my messages, Cat. No procrastinating, okay?? ♥
ReplyDeleteNote: there are now six messages waiting for you there. I wouldn't want you to miss any of them.
DeleteLOL, Alan!
ReplyDeleteIt would be a bummer to be that far ahead, since there'd be no one who could help with any issues. :-D
