Swing voters looking for candidates willing to compromise Good news if enough of them feel this way in enough places. But the qualifier is important. We voted for Obama in 2008 because he was willing to compromise, only to discover that "compromise" is not part of the current Republican vocabulary.
They're two separate parties anyway. The Tea Party should be its own third party entity, not part of the Republican Party, with which it actually has little in common. I hope the TP secedes so to speak and leaves the GOP to regroup and do some serious soul searching. The TP is dangerous and very frightening. They don't want small government, they want no government.
We heard today that the mountains here could get a little snow. There has been NONE so far, and this is fairly late for our first mountaintop snow. Snow usually begins to remain, in the valley, about a month later.
Painted our downstairs hallway over the last few days and now I'm super sleepy! Sweet dreams, all! ♥
I don't expect that I shall again encounter a presidential candidate as appealing as Howard Dean.
