  1. Howie's da best!!

Up early, water on for bath, as ready as I'm gonna be. Sunny, cool.

  2. Heh! Here I am, all dressed up and ready to go, and I get an email, that they're almost packed and ready to leave. . . . so I have three and a half or four or five more hours to go. . . .

  3. Congrats on everything, listener! Getting out from under the mortgage should feel pretty good; we are schedule to do so in eight years, and if my consulting goes well I might be able to shave two or three years off of that. Fingers crossed!

Working at the hospital this weekend; it's plenty toasty outside, but the mirage that forms to the east when it gets hot isn't there. Most likely because it's too windy.

    1. Interesting, Alan. Of course it makes sense that sufficient wind would disrupt a mirage, but I never stopped to think about it before.

    2. I never thought much about it either, but have seen it true of fog.

    3. Thanks Alan! It means we'll have more $$ to pay off other things. Aiming toward retirement grants focus. ;-)

    1. :-) Thanks!

Well, we didn't get rained on until we arrived for the concert. Drenching rain as we walked in, but we had our foul-weather gear with us. :-)

  5. Not sure if I'll be around tomorrow. Definitely not Monday or Tuesday till latish Tuesday afternoon or evening. I'll do my best, listener, as far as photos of the stair lift, but please don't hold your breath waiting.

    1. Kids brought some sweet potatoes to go with the turkey to be roasted, and each one was individually and wholly shrink-wrapped. Growing up, some of my friends had parents with sofas pretty much like that, lol!
