Bill--interesting about flights from Chicago to Montreal and Toronto; guess it can't be the landing and departure fees after all. Maybe the average percentage of seats filled? Or that good old capitalist principle, whatever the traffic will bear? The fares seem to be stable. Come to think of it, there is a big film festival in Toronto during September--but no, the fares are no higher then than now or later. A puzzler.
Pretty day to see; cold to *feel*. . . . And I just realized we've had no peepers yet. And the general rule is that the peepers get one last snow their first week. So there's that to look forward to.
Have been mildly under the weather. Then I found out that my Uncle Tim, my godfather, died on Easter Monday. He was on dialysis and had a number of other problems, difficulties and complaints, really it was a blessing. Hard to see it that way though. He and Aunt Patty have been living in Ireland for many years, so I haven't seen him in a long time. Still, we were close and his death is very distressing.
Well, I suppose, in the midst of life is death and in the midst of death is life.
Ah, Cat. Life and Death are indeed mixed up together. Wouldn't have it any other way, since after Death comes new Life. But we, who are still in this Life sure do ache. Be gentle with yourself this week. ♥
Dean! Zounds!
