I just finished re-reading The Mouse That Roared; a very fine book indeed. And much deeper than the movie, which of course is in its nature. I think I shall next read the subsequent story, Beware The Mouse. I also have the next two in the series.
We shall make a shopping run to San Jose tomorrow [this] afternoon.
Monday's going to be COLD! Fifty years ago I was on a bus, not quite to Chicago, on my way to another inauguration! Major snowstorm across the east coast. Took six hours to make the last ten miles.
Trip to San Jose and back went exceptionally well--fine weather and very light traffic.
Anybody here have any experience renting a car on on side of the US-Canada border, driving it across and back? If there is no problem, we will probably rent in Toronto for local transportation and to visit with a friend of Miyoko's in Buffalo.
Debating whether to visit Quebec City. Anybody here been there?
Hip, Hip, HEP!
