Gotta laugh at the weather peeps: they're claiming the high for today will be 28º. It's 35º at this moment. . . . Wonder how accurate the snow predictions are going to be?
Kiddle's in Atlanta for some kind of conference, and they're predicting snow there, too. Very odd winter we're having.
listener, last news of Tanner was the night he was back in the hospital, and his mum had a run in with the subbing nurse. Who was extremely rude. Nothing since then.
It's in the 30's here, and I'm liking it. Dry weather so far.
Son #2 is going to OhayoCon for the weekend, so I don't intend to come out of my sewing room except for necessities. I've finished one twin quilt, half done with another and have the blocks for a third one sewn. All my time just for me -- absolute luxury.
...that is, I know it needs bright rainbow colours, and I'm trying to think like a baby and do something with strong contrasts. A stained glass effect might serve well...but what the design would evades me!
I really really REALLY wanted the Aurora Borealis to remain at Storm Level (as it was most of the day!!) through this evening, but it fizzled out before dark. :-( I so keenly want to see the Northern Lights again...it's been far too long.
I've been reading articles at writingworld.com: Mystery, Romance and SF. The Mystery ones are the most helpful, or would be if I were writing a mystery. *sigh* However, I've also been working on "World Enough and Time" and it's coming along well. Now only the last section remains to be finished. I have hope, albeit probably foolish hope, of having it finished by the time Bill gets home next Wednesday.
Watching for DEAN?
ReplyDeleteNote regarding the last thread:
Awww, thanks everybody!! We could not be more excited and happy about how well our little superhero rockstar is doing!!
Any more Tanner news, puddle? I have a little ache in my heart (even today...maybe especially today) with his name on it. ♡
I've been downloading photos all evening...which will bode well for the front page here soon. ;-)

I don't like the sound of no news, puddle.
DeleteMy heart is right there. ♡
Spot on about he weather, BTW...the predicted snow was a bust in the DC area. I hear parts of NC got snow, though. I wonder how Atlanta made out.
Deletehe weather = the weather
DeleteI remember the nasty nurse. That was some time ago. Agree with listener that no news is troubling.

ReplyDeleteIf a red breasted nuthach married a white breasted nuthatch, would their babies be pink breasted nuthatches?
ReplyDelete*duck and run*
If any birds near you get married, document it!
