Short day at work today--finished up at 2:30 PM! Nice. And a three-day weekend to boot. (Government agencies will be taking MLK Day off, so won't be sending us work.)
Doing preliminary research on Ontario & Quebec touristing... the train looks promising for travel.
Now back to Grand Fenwick for a bit...
Diet seems to be doing OK--less six pounds in ten days, with no hunger to speak of, certainly nothing out of the ordinary. Of course the rate of weight loss can be expected to decrease.
I need to decide whether I will attend my spiritual guides peer group meeting on Monday. It begins at noon, just as the President is being sworn in, and the promises teens to single digits for my 2.5 hour drive each way. Hmmm.
I have a box of chocolates Patty gave me for my birthday, and before that I had Vermont Country Store maple walnut fudge. But when the chocolates are gone I'm gonna be good.
Also, gradually but steadily building up the amount of time I can stay on the elliptical. So even if I don't lose any weight, at least I'll get into somewhat better shape.
The elliptical is great, very much easier and more comfortable to use than a treadmill.
Zounds!

Well done, Alan! Even if the rate does decrease, you've made a fine start.
DeleteZounds indeed! Congrats on the weight loss, Alan!
