We sure hope puddle is First today among those who get sprung from the hospital!! Doctor Dean is also First!

Haven't seen a doctor in the 8 hours I've been here. Nurses say they did overtime in the ER. Apparently there were some residents before I came. Hopefully tomorrow we can go home. Her perennially swollen leg became itchy. Some pain meds seemed to have worn off. Nurses came and fussed and settled her in. She's resting now. I'm headed back to the farm. We'll try again tomorrow.
Renee ~ *Pinch Pinch* ~ I am so ultra pleased for your excellent news! I love hearing that this school is friendly, and humble enough to try Craigslist where needed. They sound like Dean People! Looks like you just found your place in life. I'm heartglad as I can be!! ♥ Any chance that, with their emphasis on health, that there'd be some health benefits for you if you teach enough courses? Maybe you can simply make friends with some of the alternative docs there and get some good rates! ;-) Be sure to tell Nurse Teri your good news! I see they teach nursing there too! Awesome!!
You're welcome to pass the good news along to her. I've got my work cut out for me this week. Sent off for my transcripts today, but still have paperwork to fill out--in addition to getting ready to teach.
But, yes, the class I'm teaching is for the nursing students. Acupuncture students also take psych, and I could end up teaching one of those courses in the future.
The only reason I am up so late right now is that Brady keeps needing something.
Link works. Oddly,l on my computer the pictures don't display on the page. But when I click on a box the picture opens in a new window. So nothing lost.
No puddle news yet today. And you know what they say: "No news is no news."
I'll peek in before I leave for work. Home later around 8:15pm. We ended up with 8" of snow from yesterday's storm. Today it is sunny and exceptionally cold. Brrrr! I fed the birds extras.
Doc (who I've never met before) released me around seven. Paperwork all morning. Paperwork and waiting. Got prescriptions filled at the hospital. Stopped at a Confederate Breastworks Scenic Pullout/overview, on the way back (me to pee, da boy to do a little historizing). Home at three. Settling in, everybody fed (including me: do you *know* how good soda crackers taste!?) Bit more clean up, clean sheets, and I'm pooped. But actually feel very good. And yup, *stuff* is staying down! Beau the Unbashful is being Beautiful! Excited and very calmness himself. Cooter just pulled out.
Renee, I am beyond excited for you!! AB SO LOOT LEE WUNNERFUL!! And more than well earned.
Trying to send a short e-mail with on attachment, a .wav file of size 39.6MB I consistently get a message that the message cannot be sent because it exceeds the global size, 35 million some odd bytes of the server. Reduce message size and try again. That can't be possible, can it? What can I do to send the e-mail?
I suggest that you copy and paste the message into a fresh email file. Then add the attachment again and try to send it. There is definitely something corrupted about your first file. Maybe there's something wrong with the file you're trying to attach? Have you sent .wav messages before?
Gotta run. Taking the grands to a science museum tomorrow. Need to try to store up some energy to get through the day. Insomnia and allergies have been kicking my butt.
We'll have to trade notes afterward. I'll have our 4 year old Grand tomorrow, and night before last I had insomnia. Hoping tonight is more like last night! All the best to you, Susan! ♥
I started to look through my textbooks today. Requested instructor access to the online resources, but the request still needs to be processed.
Spent much of the early part of the day trying to get food into Brady. We didn't really have anything in the house that tickled his fancy enough that he felt eating it was worth the bother. Eventually I went out and bought him some liverwurst, and that seemed to do the trick.
We sure hope puddle is First today among those who get sprung from the hospital!!

Okay, I give up. How come this link takes me to a FB album of yours that I can't post on, and when I go to your FB page I can't find this album?
ReplyDeleteTry going to my "wall". You *should* be on the "share" list.

ReplyDeleteSounds like except for the waiting, all went quite well! Hurrah!
Actually, having to wait is probably a sign that it can't be too bad. ;-)
When does Thankful arrive??

Glad to see you here, donna. Come around more often.
ReplyDeletefacebook nutsiness. I just right click and open in a new tab. I gather they believe their little popup is an improvement.
ReplyDeleteI'm right with Brady: liverwurst sounds *wonderful*!
