Yanno, he's such a good tree cutter, clutter cleaner upper, insulationist, gardener, dog watcher, painter, carpenter, etc. that I tend to forget he's got a real life elsewhere: http://www.nrl.navy.mil/media/news-releases/156-11r/ Back row, second one, in the picture.
Imagine: Indoor tent that is a puppet stage...purple and yellow with a little bit of a castle effect (one for each household) plus 4 finger puppets each! :-D
The ones in the big box hardware stores were much more expensive and not made for various brands of door openers. The garage door guys (who installed it in the first place) we called out said the whole lift mechanism needed to be replaced because the old sensors weren't available anymore. Ha! Ha!, I say.
We're already plotting the plays we'll put on with them! LOL!
We got three pigs, a wolf, three mermaids, and a fish, a seahorse, penguin, lobster, dragon, unicorn, and a queen/fairy godmother. Story concepts gratefully accepted! LOL!
Howard's still da One!

ReplyDeleteYup, I can believe that will be a big hit with the Grands!
ReplyDeleteShould anyone need to replace the safety beam sensors on their garage door openers, this is a dandy product at a decent price:

Well done, Alan!
ReplyDeleteOur hasn't worked in years because the door went off the track a bit and actually does require a new mechanism. Blah. At least it works manually.
