  1. Howard's still first, hereabouts (and thereabouts).

Lotsa rain. Flood warning, but I don't think it'll happen. Snow tonight and into tomorrow. Thinking that's not going to happen either, lol!

    Now, back to bed.

  2. Well, it did make it just barely over the bridge. So maybe we'll get snow tonight. About 50ยบ right now. A bit cloudy. And I've already talked myself out of going to town! Now I can sit back and enjoy the day, lol!

  3. Yeah, you don't want to come home from town in a blizzard and find the bridge underwater.

  4. I realised at 3am that I plumb forgot to meet a friend at the coffee shop Monday morning. Strange that she didn't call me. So I turned my computer back on and sent her an "uh oh!" note. Now to go give her a call...

  5. Yesterday, Beau let himself in the front door (storm door); today he let himself out that same door. Too smart by half, I sez.

  6. So guess what!!

I'd written the date on the wrong week in my datebook! We weren't supposed to meet today at 11am, but NEXT Monday at 11am. Her husband called to tell reassure me that I hadn't stood her up after all. LOL!

So now we're all set to meet on Monday the 5th at 11am.

So, of course, I learned today that our next staff meeting at the Library is Monday the 5th...at 11am. What were the odds?!

  14. We're expecting an overnight low of 54 degrees! It's raining now and tomorrow afternoon is when our temps drop. It's been nice to keep the stove off and not use fuel!
