BREAKING: Trump’s airport rebrand is so TOXIC that United Airlines is rebooking passengers to other destinations for free.

Palm Beach International Airport just spent $5.5 million in taxpayer dollars renaming itself after Donald Trump. The backlash to the change was so immediate and fierce that United Airlines is now letting furious passengers dodge the airport entirely — free of charge.

According to an internal memo obtained by Live And Let's Fly, United is offering complimentary flight changes to anyone who doesn't want to fly through the newly christened "President Donald J. Trump International Airport," rerouting them instead to Fort Lauderdale or Miami with zero change fees.

Airlines don't typically waive fees because customers dislike an airport's NAME. But apparently this rebrand is toxic enough that United decided making an exception was smarter than losing the business entirely.

The suggested script agents are told to use says it all: "I understand that you'd rather not fly to this airport anymore." Not "if," not "some passengers might" — an outright acknowledgment that people don't want their travel associated with Trump's name.

And the public response has been brutal. The airport's social media has been flooded with fury since the rebrand. "FYI: I will never ever in 100,000 million years use this airport ever again," one commenter wrote. Another said flatly: "Watch the dip in passenger numbers." Public records requests revealed a wave of complaints, including one asking pointedly: "How do we continue to get on our knees for such a narcissistic criminal so-called president?"

This is what Trump's second term has become: a nonstop branding exercise, slapping his name on federal buildings, monuments, passports, and now airports — all while pretending he's humbly "focused on saving our country, not garnering recognition," according to his own spokesperson, in the same breath used to justify yet another Trump-branded landmark.

Floridians didn't ask for this. Travelers don't want it. And now a major airline is quietly building an escape hatch for anyone who'd rather land literally anywhere else than touch down at a monument to Trump's ego.

When even United Airlines sees the writing on the wall, maybe it's time everyone else did too.

  3. I remember being interested in that movie when I heard about it, but then it sort of disappeared from my radar. I wonder if our library has the DVD.
