Reflecting on the progress of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it seems to me that they are committing errors reminiscent of the German invasion of France in WWI, [Click] which was also supposed to result in a quick victory but encountered unanticipated resistance. ——Alan
It is a little dismal on the Georgia coast at present. The camelias and azaleas are about done blooming and the live oaks are losing their leaves as new ones sprout. Thunder storms moving through will hasten the drop.
On our way home from visiting with friends and then grocery shopping, the sky was filling with big black lowering clouds. We had just brought the groceries in when it began to rain— pretty heavy rain for Fresno. Later came thunder, and a warning over the TV. The rain has stopped at the moment (twilight). —Alan
