    1. Back home all good no polyps. For some reason the sedative is taking longer than usual to wear off, so I have decided to skip my polo practice for this afternoon [grin]. Just finished a baked (or more accurately a microwaved) potato, and will in due course partake of some tomato basil soup.

  3. (Susan) This quote from Dr. Richardson's letter today is the most concise and accurate description I have seen of the Republican Party of the present.
    "Edward Luce of the Financial Times observed today: “I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close.”
