    1. The expansion of the German armed forces approved almost instantaneously when the Prime Minister (leader of the German Social Democratic Party) proposed it, will give Germany the third biggest military in the world--exceeded only by the US and China. With a single order, Putin destroyed the principal objective of both NATO and the Warsaw Pact--preventing for all time the remilitarization of Germany. If that isn't malpractice in government, nothing is.

  5. Senate Agrees on Permanent Daylight Saving Time [Click] In my opinion, it is just as boneheaded an idea today as it was in 1973. It would probably be better to go to the ancient Roman and Greek method: whenever the sun rises is 6AM, and whenever it sets is 6PM.

    1. The only thing I care about is that I don't have to set the clock ahead each spring. That was true even when I was not working at home.

  7. I happened across this channel [Click] about Putin’s War. Starting at about 11 minutes you can see used Russian civilian trucks being brought in to replace the military supply trucks that have been destroyed by the Ukrainians. The Russians are SO screwed. It’s like the Wehrmacht driving horses from Germany to the eastern front to move their supplies during the invasion of Russia in the 1940’s.

    1. Wow. Impressive and so hopeful!

      What if they made a war and the world stopped their supply lines
      lifted up the downtrodden and honoured the slaughtered;
      and it showed the true colours of the cruel ones;
      and the people rose up and joined together,
      recreated what was destroyed
      and brought peace to the planet...?
