    1. Forgive me, but I laughed out loud!
And it mentioned McDonald's too! 😆 What's with the junk food fetish?

(And good for NZ being SOOOO careful!)

  4. WaPo headline: Huge hack reveals embarrassing details of who’s behind Proud Boys and other far-right websites “Researchers say it will allow them to gain important new insights into how extremists operate online.” I can’t open the story directly, but will search a bit. Really, how could it be embarrassing, and to whom?

    1. Here's a little bit more:

Epik long has been the favorite Internet company of the far-right, providing domain services to QAnon theorists, Proud Boys and other instigators of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — allowing them to broadcast hateful messages from behind a veil of anonymity.

But that veil abruptly vanished last week when a huge breach by the hacker group Anonymous dumped into public view more than 150 gigabytes of previously private data — including user names, passwords and other identifying information of Epik’s customers.

  5. Woo hoo! Netflix put "Jaws" on again. One of my all-time favorite movies. On Hulu I'm watching "Nine Perfect Strangers", but I'm a little confused about it so far (on episode 3). I can't figure out what kind of story it's trying to be. Mainly I watched it for Melissa McCarthy because I love her talent.

I think I slightly sprained my left wrist today. I was picking up three big flats of Coke made in Mexico for my son and those suckers are HEAVY!

Then I went to Hospice and delivered six more quilts. I'm so happy I found them because The Pantry, where I used to donate, has been closed since the beginning of the plague and I was just at loose ends having nowhere to donate the things I make, but being compelled to keep making them.

    1. Ohhhh, I love that you are still making and donating quilts. Got any photos?

"Coke made in Mexico" made me raise my eyebrows and giggle. I assume you mean the beverage, not that white powder stuff 😉, but I did read it twice.

I have never actually watched the movie Jaws. That makes me culturally deprived, but I'd rather sleep at night...and I do not do well with horror films. I'm too visually-oriented and stuff like that stays with me the way certain songs run through your head after you hear them. (I'll spare you an example.) So please watch it once for me. ❤️

    2. And now I really need to know what's special about Coke that's made in Mexico.

I hope your wrist heals swiftly!! There are quilts waiting to be created.

    3. Susan, I thought of you the other day. I ordered a hat for Littlest*Grand because she's two and still just has peach fuzz for hair. And she has a condition that may make it hard for her to grow much hair. We'll see. Anyway, I got her a hat that has yarn pigtails, which I even thought to look for because of one of the hats you made for Ally years ago. This one is actually a gray Viking hat with white horns and light brown braids. I plan to add a touch of light pink to the hat, line it with an extra soft skullcap in pink (or maybe gray, not sure yet), and tie light pink yarn bows on the braids.

Thanks again for your kindness to Ally (and to me). 💖

Ally, by the way, is doing GREAT!!! I'll try to remember to post a photo and update here soon.

    4. The Coke that's made in Mexico is made with real sugar, and Son #2 insists that's the only one to drink. I drink Diet Coke, or as he calls it "chemical spill".

    5. Yes, Mexican Coca-Cola IS definitely better than modern US Coke. Cane sugar, in a glass bottle, allegedly with the original Coca-Cola formula.

    6. Oh, that's cool! Is it hard to come by?

Wil used to drink Coke constantly in our early years. Then he switched to Diet Coke. Then he stopped drinking Coke altogether. I could never really stand it in either form. But the original was better than the Diet.

    7. Wait! It's still in the glass bottles too? Awesome!

  6. A friend of mine took some photos of Sanderlings on a beach. She asked, "What is a group of Sanderlings called? A flock?"

Me: A group of Sanderlings is called a “grain.” (Isn’t that cute?)

Wil: "I thought it would be called a 'Bernie.'"
