  1. Aaaaaand, on Sunday morning it was discovered that someone had put graffiti around it, and walked with muddy boots over the V in "LIVES." There is video footage, so I imagine the culprit will soon be detained.

  2. We made it there and back again. We left at 11:30am on Saturday and got home around 5:00pm on Sunday. In between we drove from NW VT to SW Maine, stopping only at one rest stop each way, to use portolets (with our Clorox Wipes along). The motel we stayed at in Maine had not had guests for 3 months. They just opened again, so we got a super clean room. Only every other room was let out, so that even the cars were twice as far apart. So quiet. Best shower ever and new fluffy towels.
We visited family mostly outside, and it was such a good visit! Usually various family members go somewhere while we're visiting or have projects they're working on. But as we hadn't been there in 6 months and hadn't seen them in 5 months, everyone was gathered for the whole visit... with the exception of our RN DIL who had to work all weekend.

We decided getting together now was the one chance we'd have, because the numbers are going to climb again, especially in Maine, as Maine is set to reopen on June 26th. We may not be able to get together again until at least September and possibly not until next year.

It was SOOOO SWEET to see the very children and grands we haven't seen!! I can bear it all now.

    1. That is exactly what it was, Susan! I feel much more able to bear waiting to see them again, somehow.

We have actually now seen ALL our children and grandchildren, and 2 out of 3 DILs in just the past week...! The one family member we weren't able to see is the RN who was working three 12 hour days in a row. She gets home around 9:15pm and goes straight to bed. Gets up at 5:30am, as they live about an hour from the hospital where she works.

    1. You have to wonder what % of registered voters are likely voters.

    1. Yeah, thirty-six sounds pretty close to forty-two to me.

    1. Gee. Who'd'a guessed?

It must be bad. I've caught mention of the problem on Fox News.

    2. Well if it sickens, kills, and pisses off GOP voters, it's bad for the Trumpets, certainly.
