I can’t figure out a way to link to it, but on the front page of the web version of The Wednesday July 17th Washington Post [Click] there is a graphic under the headline An epidemic unmasked: 76 billion pain pills saturated the country with a slider that shows the dramatic decline in U.S. opioid prescriptions per capita between 2006 and 2012. Presumably there has been even more progress since then.
Oh, that's sweet, listener! I can remember when I was young enough to believe the stories I was told about fairies; two in particular.
