On Friday, I saw an article saying that Bernie is being deliberately stymied by the Democratic Party. It was on a major news outlet, but I can't find it again. However, while searching for it, I came across this article, published back in February, and the article I saw on Friday would seem to confirm it. It makes me really angry that the Dem Party leaders seem to have learned absolutely nothing from last time! They are going to screw up the election again by disenfranchising too many people. Why can't they simply let We the People decide?!
That sounds like a frankly perfervid rant, listener. Bernie and his followers shifted the party well to the left; several things he alone stood up for are now standard issue. One could go on. And getting ballot access for a new party is exceedingly difficult.
I shall be absent most of tomorrow; off to San Jose in the AM and back in the latter PM. This coming Tuesday (O, frabjous day!) I have my now every three years routine colonoscopy, so I will be most unlikely to be here. Definitely not my preferred pastime, but it does have some redeeming virtue.
