Kamala Harris Sticks the Landing [Click] Can anyone translate this title into standard English for me? I find it totally inscrutable. Is it some sort of east coast slang? An analogy to some (I cannot guess which) sort of activity?

Thanks, puddle; sports analogies are often lost on me--I didn't even recognize it as such. I thought it might refer to aviation--landing an airplane, which would be controlled with a stick. But that didn't seem clear at all.
