Weather has been less hot here, expected to be a little better tomorrow. We plan to pull weeds in the morning.
I put what I though ought to be a good turtle ladder into the swimming pool--kind of an imitation log. Figured to catch the turtle as it crossed the lawn. We spent some time away from the house--visited a friend in the hospital, mostly. Haven't seen the turtle since. Will continue watching for it tomorrow.
Got some more of one branch of my family figured out, and discovered a couple of things that were not anticipated. Will get back to work on it shortly. Seeing if I can locate a particular birth certificate in Oregon from about 1915.
I guess all our heat went south, puddle. We've had two cooler days. In fact, last night we came very close to a frost! Warming this week into 60's and 70's with nights 40's and 50's. I could take three months of this weather!!!
Been one way overheated day. August weather. Where the hell did spring go?

Actually on the chilly side here, with some rain. Guess you could call that spring.
