  2. I sent Andrew Janz a bit of money last night, although at the moment I'm focusing on the primary a week from Tuesday.

  3. Diane Feinstein in 83 years old and still running for her sixth six-year term. Why? Also, except for releasing the Fusion gps transcript, she's pretty timid I think.

    1. DiFI was always rather too friendly to the wealthy for my tastes, but what finally did it was when she voted for the war on Iraq. Her response to those constituents who attempted to dissuade her was essentially "Don't worry your pretty little heads; Mama Feinstein knows best." Oh, yeah? Her challenger does not impress me, but at the least I will not vote for her.

  4. If Democrats were at all sensible they would focus on the fact that the Republican Party is waging an accelerated War on the Poor. Everything they've done while in total control has been to strip us of rights and programs and funnel money - ALL the money - to the rich. Ending SNAP and sending "Harvest Boxes" of powdered milk and canned foods? Attacking Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security? Robbing women of control over their own bodies? Yeah. Those are the things that concern me. Instead the Democrats will probably continue their stupid tactic of "Oh, we're better than the Republicans". Then prove it.

    1. Quite some time back, Susan, I came to the conclusion that it doesn't make any qualitative difference if one votes for the Greater Weevil of the Lesser Weevil. If you keep voting for Weevil, it is Weevil you will get--sooner or later. Lesser Weevilism simply does not float my boat anymore.
