Still standing with Standing Rock
We are seeing our nation being destroyed by those in power, even as our people are coming together in solidarity and truth. We all now know a little more of what the Native Peoples of this land have long endured. May we continue to speak truth to power. My heart is still standing with Standing Rock.
Freedom is First!
ReplyDeleteI left many notes on the last thread.
I have tried Pinterest but find it too frustrating because good ideas are often not sourced. Also, they nag, nag, nag. Email: Susan! You have 25 new pins waiting! And IDGAF.
ReplyDeleteI've had three really bad migraines since Monday after not having any for years. I get the deluxe version with the visual aura, partial loss of sight and aphasia. Freaking me out. I blame the animals in the White House.
Oh, and Alan, here are my names for 45: Cheetolini, Emperor Baby Fists, Orangina, Minute Maid Mussolini. Cheetolini is my favorite and the one I use most often.
Susan...as for the Pinterest notifications, I believe you can turn those off. The only reason I haven't is that once in awhile a close friend of mine posts me a note on Pinterest and I wouldn't know otherwise. But when I see that Joe Schmoe in East Overshoe has saved one of my pictures, I just laugh and say "And nobody cares!" as I delete the message. LOL!
DeleteSee my other note to you below, dear and valiant friend. ♥
Susan--a correspondent of mine offers "Mango in Chief."
ReplyDeleteEgad--deluxe version indeed. Mine are nothing in comparison; I have not been able to identify any particular trigger. Evidently all kinds of things can trigger migraines, including foods (chocolate or tomatoes, for instance--the former would be the worst case, I think).
You may ignore my following collection of links; I won't be in the least offended.

Oh, and it's kind of funny in a macabre sort of way to try to describe a lost needle when all your words have left your brain.
DeleteI thought the "false-flag" thing was pretty doggone funny. A perfect illustration of people who are too stupid to be in charge of anything!
ReplyDeleteWe have big thunderstorms rolling through tonight and they're not doing my headaches any good at all. I've got FIVE new quilting magazines, so I'll be crawling into bed with magazines and chocolate and indulging in dreams of using up more of my gigantic stock of fabric.
Susan I am sooooo not okay with you having aural migraines. Take several days off from the news....maybe a week. Just rest and sew and let it go. We've got your back. If anything of imminent danger starts happening, I'll let you know. You deserve a break.
DeleteOh--probably too many links. Will divide it:
