Noooooo problem. Granted that I would have even fewer problems while relaxing on the foredeck of a cruise ship heading down the Danube, with a (modest) glass of a fine local vintage in hand... Hmmm....that would be during the Summer. Better change my fantasy to a veranda in New Zealand.
VT*Grand was here since Monday, so I've been a bit preoccupied...! She went home this afternoon, after which time I cleaned out the garage so that my Mini can fit into it, as we have 6-12" of snow expected Thursday-Friday! Then I shoveled a large part of the driveway, then made dinner. At last it's time to sit down. AMAZINGLY, it only took me an hour to clean the garage! I should have taken a "before" photo!! So now it's officially Winter, since I can put my car into the garage. LOL!
The morning news featured an earthquake in Japan strong enough to cause limited damage, centered just about where Miyoko's youngest aunt lives. And shortly after midnight our time there were three earthquakes in Nevada strong enough to be felt here (I slept through them). We joked that Japan had an earthquake and we had an echo-quake. Well, dinner break is over, now back to work for a while.
That is just brutal. I think of Debbie's son Todd now having to plan funerals for both his sister and his mother. I think of Billy, Carrie's daughter, left motherless at 24. This is truly a monstrous year.
Moved up the posting time about three hours. Sorry I didn't catch it sooner.

Cat, I sent you a wee note via FB Messaging. :-)
ReplyDeleteEr, haven't found it, but I'm a bit inept when it comes to FB messaging.
DeleteHoly Smokes! Debbie Reynolds has died of a stroke one day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher, died of a heart attack.

ReplyDeleteIs this horrible year never going to end?

ReplyDeleteWhat the hell? It was set for 1:00 AM as usual. Awfully sorry, everybody. Thanks for fixing it, Puddle.
When I changed it, it was set at 9:49--I just brought the hour currant.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of Todd too. And Carrie's daughter as well. This has been a horrible year.
DeleteBuckle your seat belts, folks. I have a feeling 2017 is going to make 2016 look like a walk in the park.
