I wonder if the pumps could be made like the liquid oxygen pumps of the V-2 rocket; the temperature at which the pumps had to operate was so low that no oil or grease could be used to lubricate them, but it was discovered that liquid oxygen itself would work as a lubricant. I am also reminded of acetylene--no copper or brass fittings are permitted to come in contact with it, because of rare explosions of copper acetylide formed from chemical reactions between the gas and fittings.
