So this is all about smartphones. No wonder I didn't understand why in Hades Clinton did this instead of having separate work and personal accounts as I always have -- even when working at home.
I am under the impression that the State Department e-mail/IT/smartphone technology/system was nowhere near up to date or convenient. Quite obsolete and cumbersome, in fact. I communicate regularly with attorneys about privileged information, and for certain things will only resort to e-mail under unusual and very urgent circumstances. Telephone calls, even voice mail, via landline are legally secure for the most part.
