The Fury and Failure of Donald Trump [Click] Win, lose or drop out, the Republican nominee has laid waste to the American political system. On the trail [with Matt Taibbi] for the last gasp of the ugliest campaign in our nation's history.

Good article, but there has to be more too it than that. The things he points to as fueling Trump's supporters are virtually identical to those that fueled Bernie's supporters. Yet very few Bernie supporters are willing to consider Trump.
I did some yard work this afternoon, but tired easily. Miyoko pointed out that I still had a light cough; guess I'm still recovering from that nasty virus I had a week ago.
My heart goes out to the Philippines! Right now they are being hit by Category 4 Typhoon Sarika (which will then hit Hainan China as a Cat 3) and on Thursday they expect to be hit by Category 5 Typhoon Haima (which will then hit Hong Kong as a Cat 4). { !!!!}
Not dull here. Last week I was sick with a mean viral cold. This past week our adult son who lives here got it. Today Mah*Sweetie came down with it. Tomorrow morning we are supposed to be tending 3 year old Grandson and 1 year old Granddaughter, as their Daddy (our Youngest) has to leave for San Francisco for a week, while DIL has to work tomorrow morning. So it'll just be me now. But, now 3 year old Grandson has a fever. :-( So he will be tended by a live-in friend while I will be tending the little one, at DIL's workplace. Wild times! I am making Soups and salads for DIL, for HER to eat while Youngest is gone. She is going to be sooooooo tired! Her parents are coming up at the end of the week for several days, so that also helps.
You know what is really weird, but I'm also kind of proud of? Except for cancer in 2014 which I seem to have skated through with the least amount of trouble, I have not been sick even once since 2007. I mean not even a cold! I don't know why, but I'm glad of it.

I mailed my ballot today--voted for Gloria La Riva for President. And my Bernie 2016 bumper sticker remains in place.

ReplyDeleteA pox on viruses! I am so glad I didn't share mine with my sweetie or co-workers. May you have attenuated yours, and everyone recover quickly.
