ARRRGH! A joysome belated birthday be upon thee, puddle!
Speaking of which, "thee" was at one time spelled with a thorn [Click], which over time came to be written much like a "y" and then was mistaken for a "y" thus making "the" and "thee" into "ye."
Just spoke with Daughter, who visited in Boston, and can clarify some things. The initial report that the boys had a lemonade stand and that all the boys witnessed the accident is inaccurate. There was no lemonade stand, and only the youngest witnessed it. It does not appear to have been the driver's fault. Still just as heartbroken, of course. Thanks for your continued prayers. We are just waiting now. ♥
Thanks for reminding me! I had encountered Vote Smart before but hadn't found it particularly relevant at that time. In a few days, though, I am going to be deciding which of the literally dozens of candidates that have been emailing me I an going to contribute to, and that should be a big help. (And that ad for the site on the front page is a hoot!)
I regularly consulted the League of Women Voters' SmartVoter, but it has been succeeded by http://votersedge.org/ and I see that it is active in only California, Illinois and New York.
