    1. Bill, I lose a fair amount of comments on this blog in the posting. Not at the other blog. Not sure what the difference is, lol!

  3. Well, I didn't get to watch the eclipse, but I did get to hear it over the radio, lol!

    1. I am trying, but can't quite figure out what an eclipse would sound like on the radio...

Totality here was supposed to be about 0330 to 0430; I woke up at 0500 and stepped outside for a look; maybe half the moon was still eclipsed.

  4. New Kitty's name is Cecilia, as in the patron saint of Music and/or the Simon & Garfunkel song. She got a catnip pumpkin yesterday to add to her toys. Not to worry, the pumpkin is only about two inches in diameter, maybe a scoash more, plenty small enough for a kitten to play with.

Cat Toys - Scroll down for the pumpkins. I defy anyone, even non-cat-owners, to look through this page without being enchanted.

The new record player arrived today. I got it unpacked and set up by myself. Must wait till tomorrow to plug it in to the electricity and check it out - a pile of boxes is currently blocking access to the outlet in question. First clear away the boxes, then reward myself by playing a record. According to the product page at Hammacher Schlemmer, the built-in software works with Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP. I'll try it first with XP and we'll see.

    1. Cat, please tell us, is V-Kitty still with you? I looked back aways but didn't see any mention otherwise.

Welcome C-Kitty! =^. .^= It is said that catnip has no effect on young kittens. I'm not sure at what age it begins to. How old is Cecilia?

Congrats on your other new addition, too! Hammacher-Schlemmer always has the best stuff! :-)
