Are you loving, as much as I am, the current situation in DC where the Republicans are doing their usual "hold good things hostage" maneuvers, but this time the President is standing his ground?
In all honesty, I can't take any possible pleasure in the current situation.
This sent me to the AP web site to see what the Republicans are actually proposing. Although a one-year delay in the individual mandate would be bad, it wouldn't be disastrous and I would be willing to grant the Republicans that concession as a face-saving measure. But they also want to delay the availability of insurance to those who currently cannot obtain it, and that is simply unacceptable.
