  2. I love language. Watching the Waltons and John-boy's friend is having a baby, he's trying to tell her from experience what she should be doing, and he talks about what the "mama lamb" does while birthing. . . . And a bit later: He's a girl!!

    1. So sweet!!

I've had a rough tech day! Not only has my computer issue stumped the Mac Geniuses and the Geek Squad, 5 minutes to closing at the Library, a guy comes running over to tell me the #3 public computer has a virus. Add to that that he's telling me this just after I had to RUN outside to catch a new patron who was accidentally given a duplicate patron ID number. (It wasn't my fault, since the ID cards are written ahead if time). The computer wouldn't, therefore, accept the info I'd added, and I realised after he'd gone that we don't have his bar code number. Oh we'll, at least we have his phone number. LOL!

      I'm sick of computers tonight!!

    2. My last twenty four hours have looked like *this*--I’ve tried a system restore (which messed up all my windows), several full disk scans, which didn’t do nothin’, and deleted all my cookies and cleared my cache: nada, except having to reset all my type sizes, and without a cache, every page had to be reloaded from go. Ack and ick. Facebook is also acting up: can’t even get any page to load. Cookies and cache were internet advice. . . . So much for which.

  3. Gotta laugh: Amazon dropped the price on the almond meal by $15. Guess the price increase killed all the orders. Made it through the maze this time. Whew!

    1. Hurrah! I love that stuff! They sell it here locally, which is great. What do you make with it, puddle? I use it in coconut date balls.

    2. Waffles, biscuits, lemon sugar cookies, choc chip cookies, pancakes (actually pizza crusts, lol), and brownies. This is $33.99 with free shipping. Just a pure wheat flour substitute. I'm thinking of going ahead and buying a 25 lb box. This order is more finely ground than the Honeyville.

For someone on low carb, none of the above are remotely possible, so this is heaven. If I don't stay on low carb, I get water retention that diuretics won't touch.

    3. Excellent!! I didn't realise you could substitute that fully. Is it cup by cup?
