    1. Ten years ago today?! WOW!

I didn't start lurking until late Summer. Mah*Sweetie and I began volunteering at HQ that October (after our son's wedding on Sept 27th), and I'm not sure when my first post happened. Late Oct or in Nov? By December I was answering phones at HQ. There was talk of putting in extra security after Gore endorsed Dean. That was such a powerfully moving time.

  3. Ten years? I came in late, but still, it doesn't seem like it could be ten years. At the same time, it seems as though I've known all of you always. I guess that's the mark of strong friendship.

    1. Ah, Cat, what a great way to express it. I'm as grateful as can be for the friendships here. ♥

  4. We've had a minor miracle. My sister who, like Mikie in the Life cereal commercials hates everything, has taken to eating my granola bars.

Mind you, they're very nice granola bars, cherry-chocolate, made by an outfit called 18 Rabbits. Don't ask; I have no idear! They're certified organic and certified kosher, so I figure you can't get any more wholesome than that. And Sis actually eats them voluntarily. More than that, she says she likes them. Wonders never cease!

Since I like them too, next drugstore.com shopping I'll get two boxes. Never thought I'd see the day!

  5. 18 Rabbits! :-)

What's the sugar content? Low enough for me to give it a try, I wonder? Chocolate Cherry sure sounds yummy. Puts me in mind of Cherry Garcia Ice Cream...but the kind Ben & Jerry made with chunks in it, not the way their successors make it, with little chips.
